parison with a twelfth-century lectionary, also from the Southwest of France, and based
on an Italian model, Paris, B.N. Lat. 3791; cf. 30v-43v (see B.N.Cat. VII, nr. 3791, esp.
118-119). However, the parallel is not satisfactory, for this lectionary does not include
Maximus, Serm. 67 as a homily for Lent.
