light Years
light-wise, the best time to enjoy icelandic nature is
late summer or early autumn. and cooler days mean crisper, clearer air.
and the wind is calmer. or is it? in my memories,
the only calm days here in the Republic, come in september.
but then again, maybe my memory deceives me. because the weather
here in iceland is ever-changing, it is hard to know, or
remember, the right month or year, of consecutive calm days. of course we get
half a day here and there, or a whole day when we’re lucky, but days?
never ... except in the first week of september. i promise.
and the light? hard, providing perfect contrast for the perfect
image you will capture, exploring icelandic nature.
