Children’s books by author and society of Jesus minister Jón
sveinsson (1857-1944), commonly known as nonni, have appeared
around the world and been translated to more than 30 languages. this
is the first biography about him in icelandic.
the 540-page long illska, which has received rave reviews, features
a love triangle including a neo-nazi and a lithuanian of Jewish
descent in present day iceland. the story also takes readers around
europe and back to the holocaust and in spite of the morbid topic
