LGM coalition with Jóhanna as PM is firmly

u June 28, 2010: Has her registered
partnership with Jónína changed to a legally
recognized marriage according to the new
marital law.
u September 27, 2012: Announces her
planned retirement from politics.
u february 2, 2013: Hands over the reins
of the SDA to new chair Árni Páll Árnason
and will step down as PM after the general
election on April 27, 2013.
