built there in 1922 and today
it is iceland’s second most
popular after laugardalslaug
in reykjavík, with 350,000
visitors last year.
The swimming pool in
Neskaupstaður, East iceland,
was built in 1943, 70 years
ago. last year, 42,000 people
went for a swim there, in a
town of 1,400 inhabitants.
