The complex also features a steam bath, sauna, children’s splash pool and three water slides. It has an outdoor pool and children’s pool, a waterslide, five hot tubs—one of which is brand- new—a steam bath, sauna and sunbathing facilities. Sundhöllin (‘Swimming Palace’) is Iceland’s oldest public bath, designed by the noted architect Guðjón Samúelsson. The main pool is 25x10-m and has two diving boards. Outside, on the balcony, there are two large hot tubs. Located in Laugardalur valley, this is Iceland’s largest pool complex.
