This pool complex has a 25x12-m outdoor pool, two hot tubs with pure water straight from
the earth, a children’s paddling pool, an indoor pool and a large waterslide. The water is
unique, sourced from a nearby mineral spring and certified as having various health benefits.

swimming pool and steam rooms are indoors. The pool complex is built in with the

This charming countryside pool is the perfect place to relax and to enjoy the Icelandic sum-
mer. It’s located only 6 km from Ring Road One. The complex features a 25x11-m outdoor
swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children’s paddling pool, waterslide and steam bath.
There’s also a fitness center and facility to wash and dry clothes on the premises.

The main pool at Blönduós is 25x8.5 m. There’s also a wading pool and two hot tubs.
Blönduós is at the heart of the lake- and river-filled region of Húnaflói Bay in Northwest
Iceland, which also boasts many cultural attractions.

Located in a small town with a population of 200, the Hofsós pool is certainly a hidden
gem. Designed by the same architect responsible for the famous Blue Lagoon and the
winner of several design awards, the geothermally-heated pool is built into a hillside
overlooking the sea and Drangey Island.
