There’s just a tiny number of guesthouses,
hostels, and dorms in the highlands and Hotel
Highland is (as the name hints at) the only proper
hotel in this majestic region which is often called
‘the last remaining wilderness in Europe.’
Hotel Highland is the perfect choice for those
who don’t want to miss out on the highlands but
don’t want to camp either—or it can be used as
a well-earned treat and a welcome break from the
tent, the camping stove, tinned food and midges.
Either way, Hotel Highland is a civilized oasis in
the heart of Mother Nature’s domain; a rare gem.
EXCEEDING EXPECTATION
The warm and comfortable rooms not only feature
luxurious beds, but also flatscreen TVs, free WiFi,
en suite bathrooms, hairdryers, bath robes, slip-
pers, and other little touches from big city life—
without any of the noise, stress, or pollution.
