REYKJAVÍK BLUES FESTIVAL
The Reykjavík Blues Festival is awaited with anticipation every year. The festival
consists of a week of events throughout the city, culminating in three evenings
of outstanding blues, this year featuring Chicago Beau, Candye Kane and Laura
Chavez the first two nights, with the third night being reserved for the best of
Icelandic blues. Here, you will enjoy not only the brightest stars of the coun-
try’s blues, including the legendary Halldór Bragason and world-class guitarist
Guðmundur Pétursson, but also the most promising newcomers to the scene.
Tickets are available to individual concerts or to all three at a substantial dis-
count. An event not to be missed by the serious blues fan.
