For most people visiting Iceland for the first (or second, or
third) time, getting out into the countryside and enjoying
the stunning landscape is a major priority. But while many
visitors want to learn more about the unique history and geog-
raphy of the places they visit, they don’t want to be beholden to

weather can present challenges for drivers who are unfamiliar
