Miss Margret Petursson, Judge Wal-
ter J. Lindal and Dr. Larus Sigurdson,
have heen invested with the Knight
Cross of the Icelandic Order of the
Falcon, for their participation in Ice-
landic cultural activities. Presentation
was made by L. G. Johannsson, Ice-
landic Consul for the prairie provinces,
at his home on February 20th. In each
case the decoration was accompanied
by an honor scroll.
Our readers will recall that Miss
Petursson, Judge Lindal and Dr. Sig-
urdson, served with distinction on the
committee which was in charge of rais-
ing the endowment fund for the Chair
Miss Margret Petursson in Icelandic language and literature
at the University of Manitoba.
