The Annual Meeting of the Can-
ada-Iceland Foundation was held on
Wednesday, May 30, 1973, at the Par-
ish Hall of the First Lutheran Church.
The officers elected were as follows:
Grettir Eggertson, President
Rudy Bristow, Vice-President.
Alec S. Thorarinson, Treasurer.
Freeman Skaptason, Secretary.
The Board of Directors elected by
the re-organization of the Canada-Ice-
land Foundation are the following
chosen from each of the eight Iceland-
ic organizations as well as six addition-
al directors:
Consul G. L. Johansson, Icelandic Na-
tional League; Mr. Alec S. Thorarin-
son, Logberg-Heimskringla; Mr. Tim-
othy Samson, Icelandic Canadian
Club; Mrs. E. W. Perry, Jon Sigurdson
Chapter, I.O.D.E.; Mr. Stefan J. Stef-
anson, Icelandic Cultural Corp.; Dr.
Wilhelm Kristjanson, Icelandic Can-
adian Magazine; Mr. Rudy Bristow,
Icelandic Festival of Manitoba; Mr.
