everyone around him. He was an un-
assuming individual with a strong
sense of duty who felt that honest work
should carry its own rewards without
loud words of praise or publicity. But
even though he did little to publicize
himself, his personal qualities were
immediately recognized by all who
came to know him. These same people
will remain grateful for having had
the opportunity of making the ac-
quaintance of John Samson, a man
who has now left them with pleasant
memories and a good example to
follow.
