Blactokonan,
Caroline Gunnarsson is a “solid
character.” She is not extremely
tall, has silvery soft white hair,
lovely smile lines grace her round face.
She dresses in a tailored style, giving
off the air of efficiency. Laughter
comes easily to her. She is definitely at
ease with herself and everyone around
her. She is never at a loss for
conversation and loves to share her
ideas. You could say she is feisty!
Icelandic women have always been
portrayed as a feisty sort, who stand
their ground with any man, but retain
a level head, in a sympathetic and
nurturing style. This generalization
could easily describe Caroline
Gunnarsson. Karolina Gunnarsdottir
was bom in Faskrudsfirdi, Iceland.
She was named for her great-grand-
mother, Karolina Maria Sigurdardottir,
a well known midwife in Iceland. In
Iceland, Caroline’s family nickname
was ‘Kalla.’
