The Beauty of the World
by Sean Bonser
Beauty is seen
In the clouds that move ever so slowly,
The splashing of Salmon swimming up stream,
The sight of the trees swaying in the breeze,
Or the ocean shining in the sunlight.
Beauty is heard
In the sound of the rain falling, falling, falling
and hitting the leaves,
The sound of a baby bird calling to its mother,
The rushing of the white water as scary as the night,
Or the clinking of the wild deer antlers in a fight.
Beauty is in yourself
Your generosity and humour,
In your dreams and sensitivity,
In your strengths and weaknesses,
And in your loving soul, and in your friendship.
