Þessi umbrotahrina hélt áfram með frekari jarð-
skjálftum til vesturs eftir Húsavíkur-Flateyjarkerfinu
í apríl 1872, skjálftum við Húsavík og sennilega á
Reykjaheiði í nóvember 1884 og henni lauk senni-
lega með Víkingavatnsskjálftanum í janúar 1885.
