Reflections llcelandic Contentl
In the golden stream of time
I see myself,
Running along life's pathway.
Sometimes confused
Anxious and filled with
Care.
"What will tomorrow hold?"
"Where are we going?"
"Is the world ever going yo have the
Peace and
Security we all crave?"
"Can the Leaders of Nations
Solve our never ending and ever
increasing Problems?"
"Will we rush headlong towards a
nuclear Annihilation
Or a permanent Peace?"
"Who has the ultimate
Answer?"
"Do men, or does
God?"

Editorial: Nothing appears to have
interested media on this Continent
more recently from Iceland than the
strike Icelandic women staged there
a few weeks back. Yours truly is in
many ways upset with the coverage
of this event in newspapers. It ap-
pears that little or no attenpt was
made to examine the reasons for the
strike. More effort was put in
describing the reactions of males in
Iceland during the 24 hr. strike. It is
The Icelandic Association
of Washington D.C. Inc.
suggested that males faced starva-
tion, poor souls. The truth is that men
in Iceland cook just as much as their
wives. Then, as one newspaper
stated, there seems to be this fear that
this "plague" will not spread to this
Continent.
