A successful association
in Utah
"The success of this
association depends on its
members" is the slogan of
the Icelandic Association
of Utah (IAU). In recent
years it has been very suc-
cessful and that tells a lot
about the members.
Since 1897 the IAU
has held Iceland Days in
Spanish Fork and
þorrablót has been on the
agenda every year since
1997. In recent years sev-
eral hundreds have attend-
ed the festivals every year.
The board of IAU pub-
lishes a News letter twice a
year and sends it out to
about 500 members. Fur-
thermore the board keeps a
website going, http://
groups.msn.com/Icelandi-
cAssociationofUtah/.
