Erlendur Óli Leifsson trained to become a pilot, and went to Vancouver to finish his course in instrumental flying. He did
that, but fishing in Alaska has kept him in Canada for around half a century. He is one of the driving forces in the Icelandic
Canadian Club of British Columbia. See page 2.
