The 2010 Experimental dance
Finals
School children compete in a dance competi-
tion with no predefined genre boundaries. The
teenagers themselves create their dance and
they are judged on originality and execution.

The best original children’s book will be award-
ed, as well as the best Icelandic translation of a
children’s book. The winning books are chosen
by kids aged 6-12.

The Reykjavík City Library and the Reykjavik
Art School threw a comic strip contest this
spring. The entries on exhibit at Reykjavik
Square, awards to the best one.
