Loma Linda Academy Consort (LLAC)

Your ALL HANDS Dining Facility
Loma Linda Academy Consort is the String orchestra of Loma
Linda Academy. LLAC entertains audiences with a variety of
music from the plaintive fiddle tune of As ho ken Farewell to the
powerful Concerto Grosso by Bloch.The 25-member group was
formed in 1999 with a membership being entirely ability
based. Members range in age from 1 O to 1 "7 years. LLAC has an
active schedule performing at least once a month in area
churches, schools and at community events. They have per-
formed throughout the Western United States. LLAC is di-
rected by Karen Hoatson and April Losey. Hoatson has her Doc-
torate in Music from Columbia Union College. Loma Linda
Academy is a Christian co-educational school located in South-
ern California with 1,500 students on grades K-12.
