New VRB changes
Some Navymen here who were not
previously eligible for a Vari-
able Reenlistment Bonus (VRB) may
soon be eligible, and others who
previously were, may not be after
July 1.
Six of the eight additions
will be effective July 1. EWs
are added on September 1, and HTs
will become eligible Jan.l, 1972.
The six additions on July 1
are: AS, AX, GMM, HM (all NECs),
MT and PH.
The ten ratings that have been
removed from the VRB eligibility
list are: GMG, BU, CE, CM, EA,
EO, SW, UT, CS and SK. This move
is set for July 1.
All other ratings previously
eligible for VRB remain effective
except for the DP rating, which
has been downgraded in multiple.
