In a post Civil War setting, a Denver
sheriff deputizes a tough young gun-
fighter to help find the man who

SATURDAY 12:15 a.m.—RUN LIKE A THIEF—
A diamond shipment hijacking provides a
drama filled with suspense and intrigue.
An American soldier of fortune in South
America witnesses the jungle hijack and
inadvertently becomes involved. Stars
Keenan Wynn, Ina Balin, Fernando Rey
and Kieron Moore.
TUESDAY 11:10 p.m.—RUNAWAY BARGE—Two
young men, trying to earn a living as
modern day boatmen aboard a riverboat on
the Mississippi River and fall into the
hands of sugar hijackers. Stars Bo Hop-
kins, Jim Davis and Tim Matheson.
WEDNESDAY 11:30 p.m. —PEACEMAKER—A
western based on the novel by Richard
Poole, centering on a reformed gunsling-
er with a Bible rather than a gun. The
"gunslinger" minister gives his sermons
of peace and justice from the pulpit
backed with action and understanding.
Stars James Mitchell and Rosemarie Bowe.
THURSDAY 11;30 p.m.—JAMES DEAN—A
documentary about James Dean's brief
career and tragic life. Stars Michael
Brandon, Meg Foster and Candy Clark.
FRIDAY 11:05 p.m.—STRANGER—An as-
tronaut crashes on a planet and becomes
a fugitive from the power structure
there. The astronaut is held prisoner
because he is labled as a free thinker.
The power structure fears he may become
a powerful dictator and take over the
old government. It therefore becomes
necessary for the astronaut to make a
daring escape to earth. Stars Glenn
Corbett, Cameron Mitchell and Dean Jag-
ger.

TODAY 7:00 p.m.—SPACE 1999—Maya, a
Psychon princess, possesses molecular
transformation and joins the Alphans as
a resident alien. Commander Koenig and
a landing party visit Psychon in search
of titanium, only to be greeted by a
hostile ruler named Mentor.
TODAY 10:15 p.m.—SWITCH—Mac’s pilot
friend is murdered and Mac is unaware
that an airplane piloted by his friend
was transporting a ruthless dope-smug-
gler and his songstress girlfriend, who
becomes the key figure in their opera-
tions to crack the case.
SATURDAY 8:05 p.m.—EIGHT IS ENOUGH--
When oldest daughter, Mary, moves into
an apartment with her fiance without
benefit of marriage, Tom vehemently
disapproves.
SATURDAY 10:15 p.m.—KOJAK— Kojak's
efforts to entertain a girlfriend are
interrupted by one case after another:
A homicide, a missing person report, a
potential suicide, a car theft. (Part
I)
SUNDAY 7:35 p.m.—FAMILY HOLVAK—Dr.
Scovell's pretty daughter, Caroline,
believed by everyone to marry her local
boyfriend, surprises them by becoming
engaged to a handsome charmer she met
when on a convention with her father.
SUNDAY 10:30 p.m.—SIERRA—The rangers
of the Sierra Nevada National Park spend
their leisure time trying to foil
Cruncher's (a large bear) appetite for
garbage. In a more serious mood, ran-
gers Tim Cassidy and Matt Harper, scale
a tricky mountain slope to rescue two
climbers trapped by bad weather.
MONDAY 7:50 p.m.—BARBARA WALTERS SPE-
CIAL—Interviewed are Burt Reynolds,
Michael Landon and Muhammed All.
MONDAY 8:40 p.m.— TWENTY/TWENTY—A re-
port on Greyhound coursing, Flip Wil-
son's children, nuclear terrorism and
Governor Brown.
TUESDAY 7:00 p.m.—LITTLE HOUSE ON THE
PRAIRIE—Grace Edwards returns with her
son from the Indian reservation on
which they lived before her husband was
killed. However, she finds her father
hard put to accept his grandson because
of his heritage. But when the boy is
attacked and beaten, his grandfather
rushes to his defense.
TUESDAY 9:05 p.m.—MOVIN' ON—Sonny de-
cides to become a tycoon and go into
business for himself hauling peaches a-
gainst the better judgement of Will. It
doesn't take long for trouble to begin.
WEDNESDAY 9:05 p.m,—STARSKY AND HUTCH1—
A school teacher informs her friends
Starsky and Hutch that she suspects one
of her students is a victim of child a-
buse. During an investigation, Starsky
and Hutch get no cooperation.
WEDNESDAY 10:40 p.m,—ANDROS TARGETS—
Part II finds Mike Andros getting some
inside help to expose a religious cult
that was working in cooperation with a
retired General to carry out a plan of
subversion of the United States govern-
ment.
THURSDAY 7:50 p.m.—STAR TREK—In a
bizarre experiment, Kirk, Spock and
McCoy are used as guinea pigs by alien
humanoids. A fellow victim is a beau-
tiful mute girl who is capable of ab-
sorbing the pain and injury of others.
THURSDAY 10:15 p.m,—SHAFT—Police
corruption and attempted murder are the
obstacles Shaft encounters as he tries
to clear a policeman framed for assault
and extortion.
FRIDAY 8:15 p,m.—CHARLIE'S ANGELS—
Sabrina, Kelly and Kris Stalk the sands
of Malibu Beach to track down the surf-
side killer of several young women.
FRIDAY 10:15 p.m.—SWITCH—A mobster
killing which took place years earlier,
implicating the Mafia, results in the
kidnapping of Pete and Mac's secretary
by a high school hood. The young hood-
lum believes his father is about to
become the victim of a vendetta.
