-Short shots-
The Best Ball Tournament will be
played tomorrow and Sunday at the
Arctic bowling lanes. Tomorrow it
will be from 4 to 10 p.m., and Sun-
day from 1 to 6 p.m.
The gym will be closed tomorrow
for pest control.
Racquetball classes are available
at the base gym. Monday and Thurs-
days from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesdays
and Fridays from 10 to 11 a.m. and
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 9
p.m. Fee is $10 per month. Sign up
at the gym or call 4588.
The women's NATO basketball team
will play the KR women's team tomor-
row at 5 p.m. at the base gym.
The men's NATO basketball team
will play the IS men's team on Sun-
day at 5 p.m. at the base gym.
The pool will be closed on Sunday
from 5 to 6 p.m., and Tuesday from 9
a.m. to noon.
There will be a meeting of all
people experienced in martial arts,
especially Black Belts, tomorrow at
1 p.m. at the Top of the Rock Club.
Rung Fu classes begin Monday to
be held Mondays and Wednesdays at
the lower school gym. Students must
register at the base gym. For in-
formation call 4588.
Masters - 35 and older!! Inter-
ested in playing basketball? There
is an Icelandic team that would like
competition. Call the base gym for
information.

No tap bowling
Scott Metzger and Willa Dugan
were the top finishers in the no
tap bowling tournament held last
weekend.
Metzger rolled a 734 series to
pace the men's division and Dugan
had a 657 to lead the women.
Ed Jones rolled the highest game
during the two-day event. He had a
290.
Finishing second in the men's
bracket was Bob Fulwider with a
727. Jones was next with a 718.
Rounding out the remaining winners,
Ray Thigpen and Norm Renaud ended
at 706, Bert Quintans and Bob Godin
had 686, Bill Hershey rolled a 664
and George Letke came in with a
654.
Linda Patrizi, winner of the
last two no tap events, finished
second with a 637 set and Vera Luce
was third with a 622.
No tap bowling is the same as
regular bowling, except that a nine
pin count on the first ball scores
a strike. One award was given for
each 10 entries.
Top o’ the 'Hill'
Willa Dugan has retained her tit-
le as Queen of the Hill. She de-
feated Vera Luce in the finals.
Mike Luce defeated Doug Drewry to
take over the title as King of the
Hill last week. King and Queen of
the Hill competition is held every
Sunday at the Arctic Lanes at noon.
