I Triangle traffic changes
to one way April 18
The Catholic Chapel Community
will sponsor a Ritual Seder Meal a-
again during Lent at 5:30 p.m.
on Palm Sunday in the Elementary
School. The Palm Sunday afternoon
Mass will be at 4:30 p.m. vice 5:15
p .m.
What is a Seder? Do you know
anything about it? It is the tra-
ditional, stylized Jewish meal com-
memorating the safe deliverance of
Jewish people, the "Exodus," from
Egypt. This family meal reminds
present and future generations of
God's goodness to them as a family
and as a people.
On the stage, eight members of
the Catholic Chapel Community will

Paper costs rise
Effective, Tuesday, the Navy Ex-
change will be increasing the price
of the New York Times, New York Dai-
ly News and the Stars and Stripes
newspapers. This increase is due to
increasing air freight charges.
A representative of a well known
name brand encyclopedia company will
be in the Navy Exchange Retail Store
lobby tommorrow. This will be the
last day for placing orders.
The Navy Exchange has revised the
operating schedule during the Easter
holiday period for the following fa-
cilities: Service Bays (Service
Station) are closed April 3 through
7; The laundry will be closed on A-
pril 4, 6 and 7, and will be open on
April 3 and 5; Retail Store Mall
will be open on April 3 and 5, but
will be closed on April 4, 6 and 7.
All other Navy Exchange facili-
ties will follow established operat-
ing hours.
Order your Easter flowers
The Personalized Services Center
is taking orders now for mail order
Easter flowers. Additionally, mail
order optical prescription service
is available now at the Personal
Services Center on Tuesdays from 10
a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WAVE uniforms arrive soon
Orders for the women's new Navy
uniform have been placed and should
be arriving within 30 days. They
will then be available in the Uni-
form Shop. Any uniform item not a-
vailable in the Uniform Shop can be
special ordered by calling 2224.
Military personnel who wish to
purchase the summer uniform shpuld
place their orders now, if they plan
to return to CONUS this summer.

events to us at other tables and
guide the people in the use of some
ritual elements at various tables.
It should be an educational and mov-
ing ceremony.
Other members of the Chapel Com-
munity have been invited to join the
Catholic Chapel Community in the Se-
der Meal. Only 200 people may be
accommodated; its first come; first

932nd honors two
The 932nd Aircraft Control and
Warning Squadron recently selected
an NC0 and an airman of the quarter
for the January through March quar-
ter. Staff Sgt. Robert Gauthier was
selected as NC0 of the .quarter.
Staff Sgt. Gauthier works in the i-
dentification section in Operations.
His wife and two children accompa-
nied him to Iceland.
Airman Scot Wolford was chosen as
the squadron's Airman of the Quar-
ter. Airman Wolford works in Rock-
ville. He is qualified as a weapons
control technician.
Both award winners will receive a
72 hour pass and a certificate from
squadron commander Lt. Col. L. Keith
Demott in recognition of their a-
chievements.
TAC band performances
The Tactical Air Command (TAC)
Showcase Band are entertaining the
NATO base personnel this week.
Their performance schedule is:
Today, 8 p.m. , a floor show and
dance comho at The Top of the Rock;
For tomorrow, noon to 1 p.m., a
floor show at The Youth Center; For
tomorrow, 8 p.m., a floor show and
dance combo at The Windbreaker Club;
On Sunday, 8 p.m., at The Officers'
Club; And on Tuesday, 2 p.m., at the
Grindavik Club; Also on Tuesday,
7:30 p.m., at The Andrews Theatre.
Peanuts anyone?
Today, there is an arts and arti-
facts display at the US0 as the cul-
mination of the celebration of Na-
tional Peanut Month. The unusual
works of art, executed by the Starv-
ing Artists who worked in, on and
for peanuts; show great creativity,
imagination, ingenuity of execution;
and are in very good taste.
The exhibition will be open to
the public after the formal peanut
ribbon cutting ceremonies. Unlike
other art galleries, the US0 Peanut
Gallery encourages photographing the
display; however, nibbling on the
exhibits will be frowned on.
At 1 a.m. on Friday, April 18,,
the triangle traffic will be changed)
to one way as follows: Drivers who
are driving on Airport Avenue to-
wards the airport terminal will
drive on the right side of the tri-
angle. When entering the Airport
Avenue from the International high-
way or from the airport terminal,
drivers will use the left side of
the triangle (by the taxi stand).
Traffic signs will be posted ac-
cordingly. Security and Icelandic
police will monitor traffic and will
advise drivers of the change.
Stork arrival
Cheryl Lynn Gausmann was born at
10:16 a.m. on March 16. She is the
daughter of Capt. Richard E. and
Debra A. Gausmann. Capt. Gausmann
works with the 57th Fighter Inter-
ceptor Squadron.
United Kingdom time change
At 160200Z March, the United
Kingdom switched local time from
Greenwich Mean Time (ZULU) to Bri-
tish Summer Time (ZULU plus one
hour). Plan your telephone calls
accordingly.
