Reservists complete training
The third increment of 42 reser-
vists from Naval Reserve Naval Sta-
tion, Keflavik 1066 completed their
two weeks of Active Duty Training
(ACDUTRA) today. The first and se-
cond increments leave Keflavik this
morning after a most successful sum-

of the Naval Air Facility, Washing-
ton, D.C.
The reserve team contributed o-
ver 10,000 man hours of professional
experience to Naval Station, Kefla-
vik. With 30 officers and over 250
enlisted members, the Naval Air Re-
serve Unit was credited with an ex-
tensive list of accomplishments
working side-by-side with their ac-
tive duty counterparts.
"Facilitating smooth integration
of our reserve personnel with sec-
tion heads here is the bottom line
of having the unit do its two week
cruise in Iceland," said Capt. Ralph
H. Harris, Commanding Officer, Naval
Reserve Unit Keflavik 1066. "High
praise is extended to our active du-
ty counterparts who have provided
the fullest degree of cooperation
and unquestionably added to the su-
ccess of a productive and meaningful

Active duty department heads com-
mented on the valuable experience
contributed by the reservists by
