TV-4 schedule revised
Navy Broadcasting Service, Det.
8, has announced a revamping of
its TV-4 schedule. Below are some
highlights:
Weekday morning children's pro-
gramming begins at 9 a.m.; soap
operas now air from 10:50 a.m. to
noon; programming for watch-
standers begins at noon and has
an additional program per day;
weekday afternoon youth programming
has been expanded; News Four moves
up to 6 p.m.; M*A*S*H reruns will
"Let the Book Bug Bite!" is the
theme of the Library-sponsored
Children's Summer Reading Club,
which will begin July 1 and end
August 12.
The children in the club will
read books of any type, depending
on what appeals to them, and give
a short report on each book to a
member of the Library staff. In
this way, credit will be given for
reading a certain number of pages.
At the close of the summer,
re will be a party for everyone
who has participated in the club,
and special Book Bug certificates
will be awarded. In addition,
prizes will be given according to
the number of pages read. The
prizes will be displayed in the
Library beginning July 1.

Also, Potpourri, the community
information program, will air five
nights per week in prime time;
"The Avengers" and "Star Trek" are
two new additions to the weekend
schedule; and Monday Night Baseball
premieres at 9:20 p.m. with New

To join the club, children should
come to the Station Library on
July 1 or after to pick up a Book
Bug record-keeping card and to have
the rules explained to them. There
are no age limits. Children who
cannot read but who can report on
what has been read to them are wel-
come to participate.
For younger children, aged three
to five years, the Station Library
offers a Story Program for Pre-
Schoolers on Wednesday and Thursday
mornings from 10 to 10:30 a.m.
Anyone interested in registering
their child or in volunteering to
work with the program should call

Toy company recalls clown
Baby World Company, Inc. has re-
called its crib toy, the Jump-Y-
Jack, because the clown can become
a small-parts hazard and present a
choking, aspiration or ingestion

ToR wives offer sitting service
The Top of the Rock Wives Club is
offering a free baby sitting service
for new arrivals on the NATO Base
for the three-day orientation period.
This service is to allow newly
arrived spouses to attend the orien-
tation briefings on Monday, Tuesday
and Wednesday after their arrival.

Not even a collapsed lung could keep Sgt. Scott Clayton, of the 57th
Fighter Interceptor Squadron, from reenlisting. Lt. Col. Charles Mordan
reenlisted Sgt. Clayton in the Naval Station Hospital on May 29. It was
Lt. Col. Mordan's last official act as the 57th FIS Commander.
