social hierarchy using the language of
mathematics and geometry.

of the world and the ongoing genesis of
the universe.

Artist Shoplifter, AKA Hrafnhildur Arnardóttir, likes to make art out
of hair, both human and synthetic. You might not be aware of the
fact, but you've definitely seen her work (you're quite possibly a
fan, even), most likely through one of her many collaborations with
Björk (that hair sculpture Björk donned on the cover of 'Medúlla'
was an original Shoplifter piece, for instance). At her Hverfisgallerý
show, you can view Shoplifter's latest obsession, the Fur-Lings,
which are reportedly furry paintings made with generous amounts
of hair. Go see it, you will like it. HSM
