TERM I COLLEGE REGISTRATION
— College registration for Term I
for the 86/87 school year for the
University of Maryland and City
Colleges of Chicago will be held
Aug. 11-15. Registration will be
held at the Navy Campus Office.
The hours of registration will be
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. The office will be open
on Thursday, Aug. 14, until 6
p.m. For more information call

CCC SURVEY — Stop by the child
care center to fill out a Child
Care Needs Assessment Survey.
The survey is open through Aug.
15.
CCC OPEN HOUSE -- The Child
Care Center and Puffin Nursery
will have an open house Aug. 14
from 7-8:30 p.m. at the child
care center. Plan to attend and
meet your child's caregivers and
discuss present and future pro-
grams.
PIANO CONCERT — The Chapel of
Light will be hosting a piano
concert Aug. 13, from 7:30-9
p.m.. Personnel must have
tickets for admission. Tickets
can be picked up at the chapel for
free.
AIR FORCE UNIFORM CHANGES
— Brown T-shirts are now
authorized for wear with subdued
and camouflage fatigues. Also
AFMCSS will no longer stock the
DPSC men's short sleeve shirt
without epaulets. The new shirt
will go into effect Sept; 1, 1986.
NAVY UNIFORM CHANGE — The
24 pleated front shirt will now
have a convertible fourth button-
hole. A button is stitched at the
fourth buttonhole to satisfy those
individuals who may have cuff link
sets with three studs. The fourth
buttonhole is convertible and can
accept a fourth gold stud.
YOUTH CEI1TEB T1EWS
MUSIC LESSONS — The Youth
Center has a new instructor.
Lessons will be available in
piano, violin, viola, and cello.

DAMCE CLASSES - Ballet and
Jazz classes are held on week
days at the Youth Center. They
are for people 3 years of age to
adult. To register call 7508.
MEMBERSHIP- The 1986-87
Youth Center membership cards
are now available at the Youth
Center. Present Youth Center
membership cards will expire in
August. Membership is open to
students 8 years old to 18 years
old.
YOUTH AEROBICS - for pre-
teen and dancercise for the teens
are offered on Monday evenings
at the Youth Center.
CLASS REGISTRATION —
Registration and payments are
now due for the next sessions of
ballet, gymnastics, and exercise
classes.
FEE STRUCTURE — A non-
member of the Youth Center must
pay a daily users fee of $.75.
This fee is in addition to any fees
required for a specific event at
the Youth Center.
RECREATIONAL PROGRAM —
This is for kids 5-7 years old for
after school, beginning Sept. 5.
Registration starts today at the
Youth Center. There's a limited
number of openings. KASP cost
$10 per week and extended KASP
is $25 per week.
NORTHERN LIGHTS TEEN
COUNCIL- If anyone wants to be
a member of the the council, they
should attend the meeting Aug. 6
at 7 p. m. in the teen room at the
Youth Center. This is open to all
teens in 8th thru 12th grade.

F.S.C. ROTES
LEND-A-ROOM — Lend-A-Room
is a Family Service Center
program designed to provide
secure temporary housing to
family members outside of their
own home because of emergencies
such as:
—family crisis such as death or
illness
—family quarrels and disputes.
If you are interested in
occasionally volunteering io
provide a room in your home to
support this program, call the
FSC at 4401 or 4357.
STRESS WORKSHOP — The FSC is
offering a Stress Management
Workshop designed to help
participants minimize everyday
stress. This workshop can also
help supervisors recognize the
symptoms of stress both physical
and environmental. This work-
shop will be conducted on three
consecutive Thursday evenings
beginning Aug. 14 from 7-9 p. m.
SUICIDE PREVENTION TRAINING
— a Suicide Prevention Training
course will be conducted by the
FSC for all units requesting the
program. The main focus will be
on the many facets of suicide
prevention. Training can be
conducted on site.
