Vol. 52 No. 23 June 11,1993 Serving the Iceland Defense Force Community Icelandic words of the week: Where is a car repair? Hvar er bllaverksteadi? ^Ka-var er bil-a-verk-stay-thee?) nWhite Falcon Fresh fish The commissary procures fresh fish locally. All fish products un- dergo a close visual inspection un- der a high intensity light to remove parasites (worms) that are inherent to fish throughout the world. From time to time, a package affected by parasitic organisms escapes the close visual inspection of the food inspec- tor. That does not mean sanitary compliance has softened to the point of neglect. On the contrary, food in- spection surveillance has intensified so that fresh fish at the commissary continues to be one of the most sani- tary food purchases. Call ext. 7694 or 4107 for any questions about fresh fish. i Detailers' visit Three Navy detailers from Wash- ington, D. C., will be at Naval Air Station (NAS), Keflavik, June 23- 24.
