F-4 display
Rising through the ranks of
the Boy Scouts requires a cer-
tain degree of initiative and de-
termination. One requirement
needed to reach the pinnacle of
the scouting world is the com-
pletion of a community project.
Matt Allen, Senior Patrol
Leader for Boy Scout Troop
364, recently undertook a proj-
ect that would take him one
step closer to the Eagle Scout
position.
The 15-year-old scout
planned and organized a job
requiring 100 man hours of
labor. “I thought the F-4 would
look nicer with a walk way,
flowers and plaque,” said Al-
len. “It’s a challenging project,
but I enjoy doing these types of
things.”
After the project, Allen must
still earn three merit badges
become an Eagle Scout,
anticipates completion of all
quirements within a month.
