Wednesday, 18:00-22:00 “AHergic salute” in the Blue Lagoon
August 21 The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa where guests relax in warm
geothermal seawater. A visit to the Blue Lagoon is an invigorating and
exciting experience while enjoying the long days of summer.
Participants should bring a swimsuit. Towels will be provided.
Transport to and from the Blue Lagoon will be provided from the Congress
Hotels. Departure at 18:00 and expected arrival back in Reykjavík is at 22:00.

Thursday, 10:00-14:00 City Sightseeing for registered Accompanying Persons
August 22 Reykjavík offers most of what other cities have; perhaps on a smaller scale,
but certainly not less interesting. A great introduction to Reykjavík past
and present.
The city is situated on a peninsula. To the east are hills and mountain ranges.
Inside the city limits is one of Iceland’s best salmon rivers.
Reykjavík is the nation’s center of culture, government, commerce, and
industry. It is a modern capital with a standard of living second to none.
Light lunch included.

Departure from Háskólabíó at 10:00.
Friday, 18:30-19:45 Reception at City Hall
August 23 The reception is by invitation of the City Council of Reykjavik and is held
in City Hall.
Included in registration fee and registration fee for accompanying persons.
No transport will be provided.
20:00-23:00 Congress Banquet at Restaurant Perlan
A three course dinner with entertainment. Perlan is a stylish restaurant built
on a revolving floor which turns a full circle in two hours, adding a magnificent
view to the delicious dinner. Participation is optional and all participants are
welcome. Tickets are available at the Registration & Information Desk and
the price is ISK 4,900, wine not incl.
Transport will be provided from City Hall to Restaurant Perlan.
