Our Scout Group Faxi was founded in 1938
and will be 80 years old next year.
We have around 40 active scouts in our group
from 7-16 years old. We have emphasized
on active outdoor scouting activities. We
have been visiting the caves of the island,
spranga, or cliff rappelling, having campfires,
hiking on our mountains and to the beach and
harbour going to jamborees in lceland. We
have been active working with our friends
in Mosfellsbær, Mosverjar who have visited
us several times and we have visited them
and have had common camping camps on
jamborees.
We are proud to have you here and hope you
will enjoy your stay here. We are interested to
learn from you and your scouting experience.

Skátafélagiö Faxi
One of the different activities that we
participated in was participating in a big rescue
exercise for the airport with the local firemen
and the rescue team of Vestmannaeyjar and
the lcelandic Coast guard. We have had
several camps and we are building up our
scouting area. ^
