If you are interested in water activities, this is the right
one for you. The Scout groups will have the opportunity to
row their boat in the harbor area in Vestmannaeyjar. This
activity provides the opportunity to experience and even
dip your feet into the North Atlantic Ocean.
This is a challenging activity, and participants must be in a
good physical shape.
You could get wet so it would be a good idea to bring extra
dothes.

Are you interested in water activities? Then this is the right one for you. Here, groups get the opportunity to test and
operate the type of Safety/Emergency boat every fisherman in lceland must know how to operate, before heading out
to the sea. This activity provides an opportunity to learn about health & safety at sea as well as floating around in the
North Atlantic Ocean. This is a challenging activity, and participants must be in a good physical shape.
The Seven Peak Hiking Trail (Sjö tinda gangan) is one of longest hikes in Vestmannaeyjar and takes the participants to
the seven highest points on Heimaey: Stórhöfði, Sæfell, Helgafell, Eldfell, Heimaklettur, Há, and Dalfjall. During the hike,
will you see spedacular landscapes, seabirds, sheep, and of course some other Scouts.
This is a moderately challenging hike, and participants must have an appropriate level of fitness and be properly
equipped. The night before departure, participants will meet their tribe advisor and guide for a briefing on the hike plan
and an inspedion of their equipment. Check out the map for hiking routes.
