Catwalk

If you’ve ever roamed the
streets of Reykjavík, there's
you'll certainly have encoun-
tered one or more of the
furry beasts that infest basi-
cally the whole of downtown.
Yep: we're talking about cats.
They're always watching,
purring, accepting the kind-
ness of strangers, and then
ignoring them when they
feel like it. And yet, Iceland-
ers love them. Reykjavík even
has its own café dedicated to
cats. Why? Because Iceland-
ers are lazy and don’t want to
take out their dog ten times a
day? Who knows.
Anyhow, our photogra-
pher Timothée went on a
stroll through Reykjavík to
capture the most common
pet of Reykjavík in its natu-
ral habitat. Enjoy.
