million were imports and 86 million exports.
Industrial concerns are still small in number
and extent, although an appreciable quantity of
such articles as margarine, soap, candles, table
waters, sweets and chicory are manufactured for
home consumption. Fish guano and woollen cloth
are also made, while milk, fish, and meat can-
neries have lately been established.
