EIMREIDIN
A Quarterly Review devoted to literature,
and to life in all its aspects.
(Illustrated).
EIMREIDIN was founded in 1895, and at its very
first issue it took an undisputed place as the fore-
most Icelandic periodical. Though many magazines
of a similar nature have since come into being —
most of them to expire after a brief existence —•
yet EIMREIDIN always has maintained, and still
does maintain, its leading position, a fact proved
by its circulation.
EIMREIDIN has the unique advantage of numb-
ering among its contributors all the leading Ice-
landic writers of to-day — poets, novelists, essay-
ists, historians, and critics.
Ever since its inception EIMREIDIN has faith-
fully mirrored Icelandic intellectual life at its high-
est level, and at the same time it has been the
most truly cosmopolitan of all the Icelandic reviews.
In so far as space permits, all foreign publications
received are noticed, and often reviewed at cosider-
able length. In any case the titles of such publica-
tions are conscientiously recorded.
For advertizers abroad who wish to reach the Ice-
landic public, there is no better medium than the
pages of EIMREIDIN. Charges are strictly moder-
ate. Address your inquiries to
