Icelandic Souvenirs
When you visit such an out-of-the way country
as Iceland, you are sure to wish to take back
with you some souvenirs of your visit, and most
likely you will also want to send mementoes to
friends at home. For articles to suit this purpose
you will naturally go to the oldest and foremost
Jewellery Shop in the country, especially as it
happens to be situated right in the centre of
Reykjavik. In this shop you will find a large stock
of genuine Icelandic silver and gold ornaments to
choose from. To enumerate these would be hope-
less, for it would take several pages in the Year-
Book. But you are cordially invited to inspect
our stocks; and even if you do not buy, you
will probably find inspection worth your while.
Nowadays everybody must have a Fountain Pen,
and, of course, everybody wants (or ought to
want) the best. You can always depend upon an
Onoto. Ours is the only place in Iceland where
you can buy Onoto the Pen, Onoto the Pencil,
and Onoto the Ink Pencil, made by
Messrs. Thomas de la Rue & Co., Ltd.,
