ÚlFuR: Another product of Borg; powerful
clear ale, rich with love and bitterness. It can be
found bottled at Reykjavík’s Íslenski barinn.
lAvA: A smoked 9.4% imperial stout, brewed at Ölvisholt.
It is available in Denmark, Sweden, Canada and the USA.
The perfect choice for beer-nerds.
gæðInguR Stout: A well-balanced stout with a nice aroma of
roasted coffee and dark chocolate flavor. It goes without saying that it is
brewed by Gæðingur brewery and is served on tap at Micro-bar.
SKjálFtI: The first beer from Ölvisholt. A 5% steam beer.
MóRI: A 5.5% red ale from Ölvisholt. Móri was a
boy who, according to legend, died when a farmer refused
to let him in in the middle of winter. The boy has
haunted the farmer’s descendants ever since.
I found myself getting a bit drunk from all
this beer. Valgeir looked at his clock and then
back at me. I was howling like a wolf – a
trademark move of mine. He firmly grabbed
his jacket and dragged me off the sofa. “Let’s
go. We’re going downtown,” he added under
his breath, “where my neighbors can’t hear
you...” 
