Have you ever said: “Shucks, I could write
a story just as good as that!” If so—here’s your
chance to prove it, and make money at the same
time. The Icelandic Canadian Magazine, to en-
courage new writers, will award ten dollars in
cash to the writer of the best short story sub-
mitted not later than December 1st, 1942. Even
if you do not win—your story will be considered
for publication. You may write on any subject,
as long as your story is in the form of fiction,
and not more than three thousand words. The
editors of The Icelandic Canadian will be the
judges, and their opinion is to be considered final.
