A GROUP OF 110 PERSONS
CHARTER FLIGHT TO ICELAND
Vancouverites are showing the in-
genuity they are noted for, in charter-
ing their own flight from Vancouver
direct across the North Pole, to Ice-
land.
The group of 110, including people
from all down the coast, left Vancouver
on the 14th of June, aboard the C.P.A.
jet-tprop Britannia air liner. Their

flight took them 10 hours, and the
cost per person was $295.00 return.
The two men who are heading this
tour are Snorri R. Gunnarson and Sig-
urbjorn Sigurdson, both of Vancouver.
The group is scheduled to return on
July 5th.

Prof. Haraldur Bessason left for
Quebec, in response to an ivitation
from Laval University. He was to
deliver an address on the Icelandic
Pioneers in Western Canada.
