Gimli, MB: The Joie de Vivre
Singers, under the direction of Helga
Anderson, will perform at 3 pm at the
Waterfront Centre. The Singers are
a +55 Choir that was formed in
September through the auspices of
the Preparatory Studies, School of
Music, U of M. The Choir will be per-
forming music ranging from the
Renaissance to the Jazz Periods.
Also, the choir will be bringing
guests with them: namely... A Jazz
Combo Band, Kristin MacDonell,
mezzo-sop., and Heather Quinn, a
jazz singer, and oboist Stefanie
Hidichuk.

University of lceland. In this talk, Dr.
Arnbjörnsdóttir will describe a new
research and development project at
the University of lceland designed for

determining its future. We encourage

in supporting this new venture by

the recent proposal offered by the
Vancouver Health Authority and BC
Housing. Discussion and voting will
