re-visit ’68, the year of the student revolt, free
love – and the inauguration of the Nordic House
in Iceland. Pops make a comeback with popular
songs from the period.

Björgvin G. Sigurðsson, Minister of Commerce and
Professor Þorbjörn Broddason lead discussion
on Nordic co-operation and the role of the Nordic
House. Music program by members of popular

In 1988 Thor Vilhjálmsson became the fi rst Icelander
to win the Nordic Council’s Literature Prize. With
writer Halldór Guðmundsson he discusses his and
