Def. 57th FIS B 31.7 26.7 Pnex 45. ,5 39.0 Weapons 27.5 36.0 —Short shots- Danny Bushong and Linda Patrizi were top finishers in the head pin bowling tournament held last weekend at the Arctic Lanes. Bushong led the men's division with a 331 series while Patrizi's 312 was high for the women. Finishing second in the women's division was Marge Engler with a 293 and Willa Dugan grabbed third with 273. Phil Blauvelt's 323 was good e- nough for second place, with Ed Saunders in third a pin back at 322. Skip Groce was a pin behind him at 321. Jim Kyne and Ed Jones tied for fifth with 317s, Doug Drewry was seventh with a 314 and Bob Fulwider was next with a 311. Bert Quintans' 308 was ninth, Ray Thigpen was 10th at 305, George Letke 11th with a 304, Bob Godin had a 302 and Walt Myros finished the men's winners with a 299. Awards were given on the basis of one award for each 10 entries in both the men's and women's categor- ies. ***** The KWBA will sponsor a no tap bowling tournament tomorrow and Sun- day. Bowling times tomorrow will be from 4-10 p.m. and Sunday from 6-10 p.m. Sign up at the bowling alley. Prizes will be awarded in both the men's and women's divisions and will be based on one prize per 10 ent- ries. ***** Willa Dugan retained her title as Queen of the Hill last weekend while Bob Shaffer took over the King of the Hill crown. Dugan won over Millie Fahland in the women's final while Shaffer bested Fred Martin. Darwin Ray was unable to defend his title as King so the men's fin- alists came from the top two quali- fiers. ***** "he annual Keflavik Men's Bowling Association Championship Tournament has been scheduled for the weekends of March 29-30 and April 5-6. Team, doubles and singles events will be held and it will be a handi- cap tournament. There will also be optional all-events and scratch cat- egories . Entries will open Saturday, March 1 and close Sunday March 23. Ap- plications may be obtained at the bowling alley from a KMBA represent- ative.
