land, Ohio, has established toll-
free customer service phone lines to
serve the retired Navy community.
The toll-free number for CONUS (ex-
xept Ohio) is 1 - 800 - 321 - 1080.
The number for Ohio and outside
CONUS - 216 - 522 - 5955 - is a TOLL
number.
This service is for use of re-
tired personnel only. The lines
will be staffed from 8 a.m. to 4
p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time,
Monday through Friday.
The above numbers can be used to
get answers to questions about a re-
tired person's account and for noti-
fications of address changes, of

Thingvellir, the ancient site of the
Icelandic Althing, which is the old-
est legislative body in the world
still in existence. The route con-
tinues eastward to Geysir, where it
is the most famous of all spouting
hot springs in the world, and there-
by giving its name to all others.
From Geysir we drive to Gullfoss
(The Golden Waterfall) which falls
in cascade into a deep canyon in the
Hvita (White River). Gullfoss is
considered to be one of the most
beautiful waterfalls in Europe.
Then the bus takes you to Hveragerdi
where you will see the greenhouse
and a large variety of plants.

to install new O’s
The Filipino-American Association
of Keflavik will install its new of-
ficers and advisory board May 25,
Sunday, at the Glacier House. Cap-
tain T. J. Keene, Commanding Offi-
cer Naval Station Keflavik will of-
ficiate at the ceremony.
The newly elected officers are:
President - Ted de la Cruz, First
Vice President - Bob Boyd, Second
Vice President - Jerry Bien, Secre-
tary - Norma Barrozo, Assistant Se-
cretary - Mona Tabalon, Treasurer -
Tita Enriquez, Business Manager -
Larry Gavina, Auditor - Jimmy Villa-
pueva, Public Relations - Vivian
Boyd and Ginny Serna, and Sgts. at
Arms - Oscar Diano, John Serna, and
Joey Abo.
The members of the advisory board
are: Oscar Amoroso, Ed Layug, Whlly
Elarmo, and Lilia Sison.
The festivities will commence at
6 p.m., and a limited number of tic-
kets is on sale for those who want
to attend. Semiformal is the dress
for the night of food, dancing, mu-
sic, and installation ceremony.
This occasion also marks the cul-
mination of the Asian/Pacific Ameri-
can Heritage Week, that was pro-i
claimed by President Carter to honor!
Americans of Asian heritage.
