Registration for the Summer Youth
Baseball league is being held for
those who have not yet signed up.
Tryouts begin 4 p.m. tomorrow with
the alternate date being Sunday.
These will be at the Little League
field between the chapel and IDF
headquarters.
Boys and girls ages 6 to 15 by
the beginning of the 1980/81 school
year leagues will be named the fol-
lowing: T-Ball 6-7*
Minor 8-11*
Senior 12-15*
*As age is a preliminary placement
tool, parents' wishes and child's
proficiency level will be taken into
account.

classes begin tomorrow at the base
gym; Beginners 9 to 10 a.m., Ad-

The Men's and Women's Regional
Bowling teams lea^e Thursday to par-
ticipate in the Northern European
Regional Bowling Tournament in RAF
Bentwaters, England.
The base pool will be closed from
9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday for military
training.

At the half-way point of the sum-
mer dart league, the team standings
are:
The King of the Hill bowling com-
petition should change its name to
the Bruce Michaelson Show. Michael-
son downed Dan Smith in the final
match last Sunday to win the crown
for the eighth straight week.
The Queen title went to Doris Mc-
Glynn as she unseated Judy Dempsey
for the title.
But both competitions may be go-
ing the way of unsuccessful televi-
sion shows if participation doesn't
improve. Both King and Queen of the
Hill competition guarantee prizes to
the top two bowlers and need at
least eight entries in each category
to break even.
Competition is held Sunday at
noon at the Arctic Lanes.

season Golf Tournament held Saturday
with a score of 86.
Softball league will begin Mon-
day. Schedules are available at the
base gym.
The base gym will be closed May
23 for pest control.
On May 26 the base gym will have
the 2nd Annual Spring Run-Off at 10
a.m. You may run 2 miles or 6
miles. There is a $3 entry fee. All
finishers receive a T-shirt. Regis-
tration begins Monday. There will
be Men, Women and Master's (Over 35)
divisions.
On May 26 there will be a Golf
Tournament at 10 a.m. This will be
an 18 hole tournament.
Tomorrow there will be a round-
robin volleyball tournament between
two NATO base teams and two Iceland-
ic volleyball teams. The quality of
play promises to be exciting. There
I will also be a game between the NATO
kmen's team and an Icelandic
ptmen's team. Play begins at noon
and will last until approximately 9
p.m.
CONGRATULATIONS I—The NATO Men's Volleyball team took first place in the
Northern European Regional Volleyball Tournament; held the last weekend in
April in Edzell, Scotland. The players who made the clean sweep of all
the teams; shown above, were: (front row) Dave Nielson, Zack Taylor, Stan
