Bada Bing
Bada Bing might have a ridiculous name
that has nothing to do with ice cream, but
damn is it delicious. We went for a taste and
had a hard time limiting ourselves to just
six flavours to test. This little sub-sidewalk
shop may be owned by the guy who runs
our “rival” What’s On, but we don’t mind,
tasty ice cream is tasty.

Red Cross
With two locations right in the downtown
core, real second-hand pickers and diggers
will delight in sifting through the hidden
treasures of these goodwill shops. The
neighbourly staff and quirky decorations will
take you through a little slice of history.

12JÖR
This high-end men’s fashion boutique caters
to those whose bodies only tolerate the
finest fabrics and most delicate of tailoring.
Head designer Guðmundur Jörundsson, who
honed his craft in the exclusive haberdasher
Kormaks & Skjaldar, gives impeccable
attention to each item, leaving the wearer
feeling like a million bucks.
