This month’ s award winning photo was
shot by Matt Manning. Matt captured
this scene while exploring the terrain at
Thingvellir National Park, sight of the
Althing, Iceland’s first parliament
Matt says he enjoys aquatic scenes,
“Because water and photography mix
well at low shutter speeds. They compli-
ment each other,” said Manning.
Matt used a low shutter speed to allow
for the silky effect of the water.
The White Falcon is currently accept-
ing black and white photos for
November’s Photo of the Month contest.
