Golden Circle
In one afternoon, this very popular excursion enables people with
limited time to enjoy the most renowned natural phenomena and
places of interest of the country. We proceed to the horticultural
community Hveragerði, where the geothermal energy is widely
exploited for the greenhouse cultivation of many kinds of
vegetables, exotic fruits, and flowers. Next stop is the crater,
Kerið on our way to the mixed high- and low temperature area,
containing a few spouting hot springs, Geysir, Strokkur and
others. We continue to one of Iceland’s main attractions, the
majestic waterfall Gullfoss before heading to the National Park
Þingvellir, where the ancient parliament was established in 930.
Þingvellir is highly interesting from a historical and geological
point of view.
Price ISK 4.900.- per person. Included: special bus, guidance and light
refreshments.
Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon is a unique wonder of nature, a pool of natural
mineral rich geothermal seawater in the middle of a lava field.
The lagoon is rich in a unique natural combination of minerals.
Blue-green algae and white Silica mud form a light natural
sediment on the bottom of the lagoon and give the lagoon its soft,
milky, aquamarine color. The Blue Lagoon was created when hot
water from the nearby “Svartsengi” geothermal power plant that
formed due to heat exchange was discharged into the adjacent
lava field. A visit to the Blue Lagoon is an invigorating and
exciting experience. Guests have opportunity to bathe in the Blue
Lagoon which is truly a unique experience. Swimming suits and
towels are not provided.
Price ISK 4.400.- per person. Included: special bus, guidance and light
refreshments.
Whale watching
We depart from Reykjavik’s old harbour. Whales most frequently
seen on these tours are the Minke whales, Humpback whales,
Dolphins and Porpoises, other species are sometimes spotted. The
tours last around three hours.
Price ISK 6.600,- per person. Included: bus to and from the harbour,
