Barónstígur 3 (F7) | Runs August 10-16 13:00-22:00 | Free!
Lots of students go to summer school to take another shot at
calculus or get some extra credits in. But instead of learning about
integrals and asymptotes, the main lessons covered at this school
are solidarity and empowerment. No SparkNotes necessary. This
free and volunteer-run school for university-level students includes
a series of lectures that cover topics including radicalising food
systems, urban growth, trans rights and feminism, and ends with a
party. So leave calc for another day—it’s time to kick the kyriarchy
in the asymptote! KES
